Grapefruit Cucumber Fizz
Makes 2 cocktails
The Goods:
Ice
4 ounces cucumber-basil infused gin (see right)
1 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice
1 cup ginger beer
3 tablespoons basil cut into ribbons
Fresh grapefruit wedges
Fresh cucumber slices
How To:
Add a half cup of cucumber slices and 2 tablespoons of basil ribbons to 1 cup of gin.
Refrigerate overnight.
Strain the gin and reserve 4 ounces.
Divide ice between two tall glasses.
Add gin and divide the grapefruit juice between glasses.
Top with ginger beer and garnish with grapefruit wedges, cucumber slices and thinly sliced basil ribbons.
