Thanksgiving Looks for Women and Men
It’s that time of year again as we get ready to gather together with our friends and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving and all that we are grateful for. We joyfully prepare our traditional dishes of sweet potato casserole and pumpkin flavored everything. We make room for out-of-town guests and stock our liquor cabinets to brace ourselves for those family members we see once a year.
Once the big day has arrived to eat, drink and be thankful, we scratch our heads wondering what to wear. Most often it’s a casual affair with the focus being on family and friends, so I’ve rounded up three looks for both men and women to help take the guesswork out of your day.
For the Ladies
Red Floral Top—Jeans are always an easy option so dress them up with a pretty fall floral and a low heel. Grab a tote to bring along any games or magazines during down time while the boys watch football.
Leopard Coat—If Mother Nature decides to bring in a cool breeze, make a statement with a faux fur leopard coat. You are sure to be the talk of the day (good or bad), but you’ll be cute in my opinion!
Knit Dress—Go cozy and relaxed with a super soft knit dress. You can let it all hang out under this comfy piece and even go back for seconds. Add in a chunky boyfriend cardigan and scarf for chillier temps.
For the Men
Gingham and Chinos—Pull out your favorite gingham and pair it with your chinos and sneakers. Add a casual element to it with a denim jacket.
Bomber Jacket—Update your outerwear with a lightweight bomber option. It also looks great with jeans and a tee if you want a more relaxed look.
Double Denim—Layers are not just for women. Men can add color to their basics by layering with sweaters and jackets.
