Five, Four, Three, Two, One!

Welcome to February 2020 and the shortest month of the year.   However, this year February is one day longer because 2020 is a leap year.  So, what is a leap year?  A leap year occurs once every four years when an extra day is added to the calendar. This day is needed as a corrective measure because the Earth does not orbit the sun in precisely 365 days (it actually takes 365.25 days.)

February is also the month of love, with Valentine’s Day falling on Friday, Feb. 14.

So, this month we thought about a romantic road trip to a hidden gem right here in Hendersonville. We also have a story about a place where you can just have lots of fun with that special person or kids in your life.   And don’t forget to read our special Parting Thought, that tells the story of how Hendersonville and the surrounding communities came together in love and prayers for a fallen officer.

So, Hendersonville, while you fill your home with chocolate truffles and roses this month, remember to fill your heart, too. Find what makes you feel alive—and don’t forget to share it with us.

Remember, today is always a great day to love yourself.

We love to see you around.
