2018 Bledsoe’s Fort Colonial Fair

The 11th annual Bledsoe's Fort Colonial Fair was held May 4-6 at Bledsoe Fort Park in Castalian Springs, Tennessee. The event featured history buffs from around the country who reenacted frontier life in Castalian Springs as it was during the late 1700s. 

Hendersonville Holds Inaugural Sumner Fest

The inaugural Sumner Fest was held at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville on May 12. The family-friendly event featured hot air balloons, a boat show, boat rides, food vendors and a dedicated children's play area. Sumner Fest also featured live entertainment that spotlighted local Sumner County music legends such as Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Barbara Mandrell. 

Rocky McElhaney Law Office Ribbon Cutting

The Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting celebration for the new Rocky McElhaney Law Office at 475 Saundersville Road on May 15.

2018 Memorial Day Classic

The 12th annual Memorial Day Classic run was held at Drakes Creek Park on May 28. The event consisted of 5K and 15K courses, which covered scenic routes in Hendersonville. Mild weather helped bring out a record field of more than 900 runners. All event proceeds benefit the Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center.
